Russell Window

This acrylic painting called "Russell Window" I painted from one of
my photos I took while in Russell looking towards Paihia where I
officiated at the Wedding of Irena and Tui. It was a beautiful
celebration of young love with all the promise of new life.

This painting consists of four separate canvasses with the sunset
over Paihia which give the impression of a cross. Marriage is
life time of hard work with the cross of letting go of oneself but
growing and rising towards the other in life giving Love.

So this painting is reminder for me to pray for all the newly- wed
couples on their journey of sharing dreams. God bless them.
